Borussia Dortmund confirm Konstantelias signing | OneFootball

Borussia Dortmund have confirmed the signing of Giannis Konstantelias from PAOK FC.

The 23-year-old attacking midfielder has signed a contract with the Black and Yellows until 2031.

“We are very pleased that we have convinced Giannis, a talented attacking player, to join us. We have been following his development for quite some time," said Borussia Dortmund managing director for sport Lars Ricken. 

“At 23, he is still a relatively young player, while at the same time already bringing a great deal of experience with him. We would also like to thank the people responsible at PAOK for the consistently respectful and constructive discussions surrounding Giannis’ transfer.”

Konstantelias said:

“I’m very happy to be playing for Borussia Dortmund in the future. BVB is a big club and I will give everything to be successful here.”

Dortmund have reportedly paid €26 million plus up to €6 million in bonuses for the Greece international, with the deal also including a 15 per cent sell-on clause for PAOK.
