Borussia Dortmund interested in Hoffenheim striker Fisnik Asllani with Serhou Guirassy’s future uncertain | OneFootball

Bild reports that Borussia Dortmund are interested in Hoffenheim striker Fisnik Asllani, who is looking to leave the club in the summer.

Dortmund are one of the clubs monitoring the Kosovo international, who has a release clause in his contract in Sinsheim. Die Schwarzgelben were also interested in Asllani in the summer following a successful loan spell at Elversberg last season, but instead, he signed a new contract at Hoffenheim. 

This season, the 23-year-old has six goals and three assists for TSG in 16 appearances, with the club currently sitting seventh in the Bundesliga.  

Could Serhou Guirassy leave Dortmund?

The reason why Asllani could move to the Signal Iduna Park is that there are doubts about the future of Serhou Guirassy. 

Not only has the 29-year-old’s form fallen off a cliff in recent weeks, but he has also been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, with his brother, who is also his agent, offering the striker to clubs in the Saudi Pro League.

Guirassy also has a €50m release clause in his contract, which is only valid for top clubs like Manchester United, Manchester City and Barcelona, to name a few.
