Fabrizio Romano reports that Borussia Dortmund have enquired about Manchester City attacker Oscar Bobb. The Norwegian has made just nine Premier League appearances for the Citizens this season and may play even less of a role once City bring in more wingers during the January transfer window. Romano does note state that the Bundesliga outfit has engaged in concrete talks yet.
BVB attackers Karim Adeyemi and Julien Duranville are currently not in Dortmund head coach Niko Kovac’s good graces. Duranville has been excluded from the coach’s matchday squad selection due to poor training performances. Adeyemi remains in hot water for personally attempting to hide an illegal weapons conviction earlier this autumn, not to mention a very public spat with Kovac during the final Bundesliga fixture of the 2025 calendar year.
Duranville is being actively offered to other clubs while Adeyemi – per Sport Bild – could be sold to an interested bidder for €60m this January. Dortmund are interested in purchasing Bobb outright. The 22-year-old maintains a current estimated market value of €25m. Adeyemi’s sale would leave the BVB administrative team with plenty of liquidity to easily wrap up a deal for Bobb.
