Sky Germany reports that Borussia Dortmund are monitoring the situation of Feyenoord midfielder Quinten Timber

During the Dutch side’s visit to Stuttgart in the Europa League, Dortmund had scouts in attendance to watch the 24-year-old. However, there has yet to be any contact between the twin brother of Arsenal defender Jurrien and die Schwarzgelben.

Bayer Leverkusen also showed an interest in Quinten in the summer, but instead opted to sign Equi Fernandez from Saudi Arabia.

The midfielder’s contract at Feyenoord expires next summer, and Timber is said to be open to a move after spending three years in Rotterdam.

Who could Timber replace at Dortmund?

Sahil Özcan is expected to leave the club, either this winter or in the summer. The 27-year-old has no future at the Signal Iduna Park, and his previous club, 1.FC Köln, have been linked to the midfielder.

Elsewhere, Julian Brandt has received a contract extension offer from the club.
