Borussia Dortmund take on Borussia Mönchengladbach on Sunday in a Matchday 32 Bundesliga fixture.
BVB head into the game full of confidence after a dominant 4-0 win over SC Freiburg on April 26, which confirmed their place in next season’s Champions League.
They currently sit second in the table with 67 points in 32 matches and have won three of their last five matches. Although they suffered a 2-1 defeat to Hoffenheim earlier in April, their away record remains strong, with just one loss in their last 11 Bundesliga away games.
Dortmund are dealing with several injury issues, especially in defence. Niklas Süle (knee) and Emre Can (ACL) are both out, while Ramy Bensebaini is also expected to miss the match after picking up a foot injury against Freiburg.
These absences could see Luca Reggiani start in a back three. Yan Couto and Jobe Bellingham have recently been ill but are likely to be available for selection.
Further up the pitch, manager Niko Kovac may choose Carney Chukwuemeka ahead of Julian Brandt to support Serhou Guirassy and rising talent Samuele Inácio in the front three, as Dortmund aim to secure second place despite ongoing injury concerns, including Felix Nmecha.
Possible Borussia Dortmund starting XI: Kobel; Reggiani, Anton, Schlotterbeck; Ryerson, Sabitzer, Bellingham, Beier; Chukwuemeka, Inacio; Guirassy
The match will kick off at 4:30pm BST on Sunday, 3rd May.
