Borussia Dortmund predicted XI vs Real Madrid: Nuri Şahin without several players | OneFootball

Nuri Şahin had a couple of decisions to make when it comes to team selection ahead of Borussia Dortmund’s Champions League clash against Real Madrid on Tuesday night.

He confirmed that Gregor Kobel had a slight stomach problem, which is the reasoning behind the Swiss goalkeeper only training in the gym this morning, while both Niklas Süle (stomach) and Pascal Groß (muscular) both had problems heading into this game, but Şahin confirmed that the duo have returned. Whether they’re fit enough to start, is another matter.

The loss of Groß in midfield could be problematic, but Marcel Sabitzer could also play that role while Felix Nmecha also remains an option for Dortmund. Defensively, Waldemar Anton is likely to start ahead of Süle, as per kicker.

Şahin will however be without four players: Yan Couto, Giovanni Reyna, Julien Duranville and Karim Adeyemi didn’t travel to Spain.
