Borussia Dortmund ‘to sign’ Brazilian left-back Kauã Prates from Cruzeiro

Borussia Dortmund have agreed a deal to sign 17-year-old left-back Kauã Prates from Cruzeiro for around €12 million, Sky Germany reports.

Brazilian outlet Central da Toca adds that the agreement includes a sell-on clause.

Only minor details are said to be outstanding, with Prates expected to sign a contract until 2031 and link up in the summer.

He cannot move to Europe this winter because he turns 18 on 12 August.

Despite his age, Prates has already made 15 first-team appearances for Cruzeiro.
