Samuele Inacio has been suspended for two matches by the sports court of the German Football Association, following his red card against Hamburger SV.
According to BuLi News, the 18-year-old will miss Borussia Dortmund's next two Bundesliga fixtures.
In the opening game of the Bundesliga season last Saturday, he was dismissed on 77 minutes for a mistimed tackle on Albert Grønbæk.
Referee Felix Zwayer showed the red card as Dortmund won 2-0.
Inácio will be unavailable to Niko Kovač for the matches against TSG Hoffenheim on 5 September and SC Paderborn on 12 September.
