Algerian international Amin Chiakha has become one of the most closely watched young forwards in Scandinavia with clubs in both Germany & France tracking his rapid rise this season.

Currently on loan at Vejle BK from FC Copenhagen, the 20 year old striker has been one of the surprise packages of the Danish Superliga combining speed, physicality and sharp finishing in the final third.

Six goal in 14 game and growing influence

Chiakha has scored six goal in 14 match across league and cup this season, a return that has quickly elevated his profile and placed him among the league’s most exciting young attackers.

His latest standout performance came last week against parent club Copenhagen — a match in which he scored again in front of scouts from major European clubs.

Borussia Monchengladbach & Rennes scouting him

According to Danish outlet Tipsbladet, Borussia Monchengladbach sent scouts to watch Chiakha live in Copenhagen signalling serious interest from the Bundesliga.

French newspaper Sport confirmed that Stade Rennais also had representatives in attendance with the Ligue 1 side identifying him as long term attacking prospect.

Copenhagen value him at €10 million

Reports indicate that FC Copenhagen valued the Algerian striker at €10 million last summer. Chiakha is under contract with Copenhagen until June 2029 meaning any transfer would require significant offer.
