Boto sidesteps question on Bruno Henrique and Cebolinha renewals | OneFootball

Flamengo’s football director José Boto sidestepped questions on contract renewals for Bruno Henrique and Cebolinha ahead of the Recopa Sudamericana.

The pair remain under contract until December 2026, and Boto was asked about extensions before Thursday’s trip to Lanús.

"In due time we will address these matters," he told ESPN.

From June, both players can sign pre-contracts with any club worldwide without generating a fee for Flamengo.

Bruno Henrique continues to compete with Pedro for a starting role. He has 11 appearances in 2026, with two goals and two assists.

Everton Cebolinha is vying with Samuel Lino on the left. He has 11 games, three goals and one assist this year.

Filipe Luís’s side visit Lanús for the first leg of the Recopa Sudamericana at the Estadio Ciudad de Lanús, kick-off 21:30 Brasília time.
