Bournemouth have delivered an ultimatum as they grow wary of Liverpool’s pursuit of Giorgi Mamardashvili dragging on for too long this summer.

The Reds are pushing to land the Georgian goalkeeper this summer as part of their plans to find a long-term replacement for Alisson.

The Brazilian will not be leaving Liverpool any time soon but the Reds fear Mamardashvili’s price will rise if they do not sign him now.

The Merseyside giants are keen to sign the Valencia goalkeeper and have an agreement to loan him out to Bournemouth when they do.

However, according to Spanish outlet Relevo, the Cherries are growing impatient with the way the negotiations are dragging along.

Bournemouth want a new goalkeeper and want Liverpool to light a fire on their pursuit of the Valencia shot-stopper.

They have already started to sound out alternatives as unlike Liverpool, they have a more pressing need for a new goalkeeper.

The Reds have tabled a new bid worth more than €30m in a fixed fee and the final figure could go up to €40m.

Liverpool are yet to get a response from Valencia since making the new offer for Mamardashvili.
