Evan Ndicka’s future may be far from Rome.

The Ivorian defender has parted ways with his agent and will decide his own footballing destiny without any intermediary.

The 1999-born defender, who arrived on a free transfer in 2023, will retain a 20% stake in the proceeds from his transfer.

This is no small feat for the Giallorossi, which must comply with the settlement agreement with UEFA by June 30th, generating approximately €80 million in capital gains.

This season, Ndicka has played 39 games, scoring five goals.

As a result, Roma could sacrifice Ndicka on the altar of capital gains by June 30th. This would be a watershed date for the Giallorossi’s transfer window.

According to news portal 225foot, Bournemouth are keenly interested in the Ivorian defender. The English club’s sporting director knows the 1999-born defender very well.

Tiago Pinto, in fact, is the same man who brought him to the capital on a free transfer in 2023. Ndicka is reportedly a priority for Bournemouth scouts, but the club has not yet made any offers to Roma.

The situation is worth monitoring because the player is highly regarded, and the Giallorossi could let the former Frankfurt player leave if offered between €35 and €40 million.
