The match officials for Leeds United’s Premier League clash with Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon have been announced, with Michael Oliver set to take charge at Elland Road.
The Premier League mainstay has racked up over 400 games in the middle of the park since his debut in 2010 and has featured at the highest level, including refereeing World Cup, European Championships and UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.
The Northumbria-based referee has enjoyed a busy start to the season, officiating in every gameweek so far, most recently taking charge of Fulham’s 3-1 victory over Brentford last weekend.
Oliver has blown the whistle in 16 clashes featuring Leeds previously, showcasing five wins which included overseeing the Whites’ 2-1 victory away at Anfield in the 2022/23 season.
For the visitors, Oliver has appeared 15 times, also in five wins, with the last coming last season as the Cherries defeated Fulham 1-0 at home in April.
Keeping up with the action from Stockley Park is Video Assistant Referee Timothy Wood and Additional VAR Wade Smith.
