Bournemouth ‘to be favourites’ to sign David Raum

AFC Bournemouth are viewed as front-runners for RB Leipzig captain David Raum if he chooses to move on this summer.

Sport Bild reports that Bournemouth have emerged as favourites to sign the 27-year-old, who has one year left on his contract.

Next season Bournemouth will be coached by Marco Rose, who worked with Raum during their time together at Leipzig.

The left-back is reportedly attracted to a move to the Premier League and could draw further interest at the upcoming World Cup with Germany.

After the tournament, the German defender plans to sit down with Leipzig to discuss his future.

Nothing has been decided yet, but if he does depart, Leipzig already have a potential successor in Max Finkgräfe.
