Bournemouth travel to Turf Moor today, aiming to extend the Premier League’s longest current unbeaten run and bolster their late push for a European place.
The Cherries have moved into 9th place following a nine-game undefeated streak, leaving them just four points behind the European spots. Manager Andoni Iraola has overseen a resilient period, with four wins and five draws, although his side is yet to beat a newly promoted club this season. Bournemouth have won on two of their last four visits to Turf Moor and will look to replicate their 2–0 victory from last March.
Andoni Iraola manages a squad missing several influential creative figures but boasting a settled defensive unit. Notably, Justin Kluivert, Lewis Cook, and Ben Gannon-Doak are all sidelined with long-term injuries.
Consequently, January signing Rayan is expected to keep his place in the starting XI alongside Marcus Tavernier. Eli Junior Kroupi is pushing for a start in the number 10 role, while Evanilson will lead the line as the lone striker.
Djordje Petrovic will start in goal behind a back four of Alex Jiménez, James Hill, Marcos Senesi, and Adrien Truffert. In midfield, Tyler Adams and Alex Scott will look to control the tempo and launch the direct attacks that have become a hallmark of Bournemouth’s play this season.
Notably, Bournemouth have scored five goals from direct attacks this term, the second-highest total in the division. Despite their high-scoring away games, the Cherries have kept three clean sheets in their last six league outings and will target another shutout against a goal-shy Burnley side.
Bournemouth Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Petrovic; Jimenez, Hill, Senesi, Truffert; Adams, Scott; Rayan, Kroupi, Tavernier; Evanilson
The Premier League fixture takes place at Turf Moor on Saturday, 14 March 2026. Kick-off is scheduled for 15:00 GMT.
