The news of the day is the mutual termination of Edoardo Bove’s contract.
After suffering an on-field illness in December 2024 during the Fiorentina-Inter match, the midfielder is eligible to return to action and will likely do so with Watford in the Championship.
Following Roma’s announcement of their mutually agreed separation, Bove sent a farewell message.
On his Instagram profile, accompanied by a series of photos in the Giallorossi jersey, the 2002-born player wrote: “A bond that goes beyond a simple contract. See you soon on the pitch! Thank you for everything.”
Among the teams most interested in Bove is Watford, a team that plays in the Championship, England’s second division.
An English destination is one of the most likely for the 2002-born player, who is unable to play in Italy.
After suffering a heart attack, he was given a subcutaneous defibrillator. In Italy, unlike other foreign leagues, including those in England, playing with the life-saving device is not permitted, which therefore prevents him from qualifying.
