Brasileirão table: São Paulo stuck in 8th, rivals in the G6 slip up

São Paulo suffered its second consecutive defeat in the Brasileirão, losing 2-0 to Grêmio on Thursday night (16th), and is now in 8th place on the leaderboard, with 38 points accumulated.

The tricolor team, however, got lucky in this 28th round, as the teams opening the G6, which grants a spot in the next Copa Libertadores, stumbled. Bahia and Botafogo lost in their state derbies. Fluminense, in 7th place, however, won at the end and widened the gap over São Paulo.
