FC Bayern continue to press ahead with their long-term squad planning – and are focusing on one of South America’s most exciting attacking talents in the process. The Munich club have been linked with Brazilian attacker Rayan for months, and now there are increasing signs of a concrete breakthrough

According to the latest reports, the 19-year-old has given the German record champions the green light for a move, which is a decisive signal for Max Eberl and the sporting management

Rayan is already regarded as a future superstar in Brazil. Despite his young age, the attacking player has come to the fore at Vasco da Gama and aroused the interest of numerous top European clubs. FC Barcelona, Real Madrid and Chelsea FC are also said to be keeping a close eye on the youngster. It is therefore all the more remarkable that FC Bayern are apparently in an excellent position in the race for the attacking all-rounder

As the Brazilian portal UOL reports, Bayern have been looking at Rayan for some time. Scouts from the record champions are said to have observed the attacker on several occasions, and there have already been initial talks between Munich and Vasco da Gama. The Brazilian club is therefore waiting for a concrete offer from Munich

Financially, however, the transfer is no bargain. According to UOL, Vasco da Gama is hoping for a transfer fee of between 40 and 50 million euros. The striker’s current market value is around 25 million euros, but given his age, his development potential and the international competition, it is clear that a potential transfer is likely to be significantly higher. For Bayern, it would nevertheless be an investment in the future – in line with their strategic realignment

Particularly interesting from Munich’s point of view: Rayan himself is said to be open to a move to Europe in the summer of 2026 and considers FC Bayern to be his desired destination. This would give the record champions an advantage over their international rivals that should not be underestimated. As a result of the player’s „yes“, Bayern now want to intensify their efforts, as UOL reports

Perspective behind Kane – exactly the profile Bayern is looking for

In sporting terms, Rayan fits exactly into the requirements profile that has been discussed several times recently at Säbener Straße. The Brazilian can be deployed flexibly, plays predominantly as a centre-forward at Vasco, but can also play on the wings. His dynamism, finishing power and technical quality make him a modern attacking player who cannot be tied down to one position

At FC Bayern, Rayan could take on the role behind Harry Kane in the future. It is precisely in this position that Munich are specifically looking for a young striker with development potential who can be brought in over the medium term without the immediate pressure of having to replace a world-class goalscorer. Rayan would fit this profile almost perfectly.
