Brazilian Serie A transfers: 109 signings as new season begins | OneFootball

Brazilian Serie A clubs have made 109 signings ahead of the Campeonato Brasileiro’s restart on Wednesday, featuring Gabigol, Marlon Freitas, Savarino and Vitão. According to Globo.com, the 20 top-flight clubs have refreshed squads after promotions and departures.

Mirassol, rebuilt after qualifying for the Libertadores, lead with 14 arrivals, including Eduardo, Galeano, Lucas Mugni and Willian Machado.

Remo return to the elite with 14 additions. Chapecoense made 13 and Coritiba 10. At the other end, Palmeiras signed only Marlon Freitas for more than R$ 30 million from Botafogo.

Gabriel Barbosa switched Cruzeiro for Santos and has two goals in four games on his return. Maycon left Corinthians for Atlético-MG, while Savarino moved to Fluminense after two seasons at Botafogo.

Vitão almost moved to Belo Horizonte, but Flamengo agreed a deal with Internacional and signed him until 2029. Weverton left Palmeiras for Grêmio after eight years, departing as the club’s most decorated goalkeeper and second for clean sheets.

Internacional added Félix Torres on loan from Corinthians and free agent Paulinho Paula. Rodrigo Villagra arrived on loan from CSKA, and the club are close to a permanent deal for Derik Lacerda from Cuiabá.

São Paulo signed Danielzinho from Mirassol, added Carlos Coronel and brought back Dória, who had been in Mexico since 2018. Vasco bought Alan Saldivia, took Johan Rojas on loan, and moved for Brenner and Hinestroza, with Brenner already in Rio awaiting confirmation. Bahia recruited Cristian Olivera and Román Gómez, while Vitória made eight signings including Caíque, Luan Cândido and Marinho.
