Leicester City have confirmed the sacking of managet Marti Cifuentes after just six months in charge.
Th 43-year-old has paid the price for a desperate run of form that has left the Foxes in 14th place in the Championship albeit they are just six points off the playoffs.
Cifuentes' final game in charge was the nadir - a 2-1 home loss to Oxford United - and it was the final straw for a board looking to get the club back on track after relegation and amid PSR issues.
The former QPR boss was with Leicester for just 31 games, winning and losing 11 apiece.
Russell Martin, Robbie Keane and Mark Robins are among the early favourites to replace the Spaniard.
