Manchester City have reportedly been found guilty on almost all charges brought against them for allegedly breaching Premier League financial regulations.

According to both The Athletic and The Times, City have been found guilty on 114 of the 115 charges, although their punishment has not yet been decided upon.

David Ornstein's report claims that 'all possibilities remain on the table' regarding sanctions but it is widely anticipated that the club will launch an appeal against the outcome.

After a Premier League meeting with clubs on Thursday, attendees were informed that a decision had been made.

City's most recent previous official statement on the matter in February 2023 welcomed an independent commission's investigation, with the club being 'surprised' by the charges.

The investigation related to alleged breaches between 2009 and 2018.

The Premier League have accused the club of failing to provide accurate financial information regarding payment details to club staff, notably players and coaches in addition to breaching UEFA's Financial Fair Play rules and the Premier League's Profitability and Sustainability regulations.

Previously, City were given a two-year ban from European competition after UEFA found them to be guilty of breaching FFP in February 2020, although that suspension was later overturned.
