Ligue 1 upstarts and BlueCo group outfit Strasbourg have secured vital reinforcements in Alsace after completing a move for Brighton's Julio Enciso.
The 21-year-old Paraguayan international now has the chance to prove himself on the continent under budding manager Liam Rosenior at Stade de la Meinau, with Le Racing shelling out a reported €16m for the attacking midfielder in a deal that runs until 2030.
After first rising through the ranks with boyhood club Libertad, Enciso arrived at the Amex in the summer of 2022 amid plenty of future expectation, but after three seasons and just five goals in 57 appearances, Enciso spent the second half of the 2024-25 season on loan at Ipswich, scoring twice in 13 appearances for the Tractor Boys.
In joining Strasbourg, it is widely expected that Chelsea could look to make a move for Enciso in the future.
