Stade Brestois host neighbours Stade Rennais on Saturday at 19:00 in Ligue 1’s 28th round, with Brendan Chardonnet and Ludovic Ajorque back from suspension.

According to L'Équipe, Kamory Doumbia and Mama Baldé remain sidelined, but there have been no new setbacks. Soumaïla Coulibaly was rested this week with an ankle issue and has not been ruled out.

Coulibaly could start to the left of Chardonnet, who served his ban before the break in the 0-3 defeat at Auxerre. He is competing with Junior Diaz, who had edged ahead despite being right footed, and that loss is not expected to alter the pecking order.

Another boost for coach Eric Roy is the return of Ajorque, also suspended for the Auxerre match. He will lead the line for an attack that has lacked cutting edge in his absence.

The derby will also act as a belated 75th anniversary celebration for Brest, founded in 1950.
