Corinthians beat Red Bull Bragantino 2-0 on Sunday night in the 22nd round of the Campeonato Brasileiro at the Estádio Municipal de Bragança Paulista, with Breno Bidon playing the full 90 minutes for the first time since May.
His previous full outing was the 2-0 loss to Platense in the sixth group match of the Copa Libertadores. BBC Sport reported earlier this year that Arsenal had monitored the 21-year-old as he progressed with Italian citizenship.
After facing the Argentine side, he featured against Grêmio, Cascavel, Remo, Bahia and Internacional twice, and was substituted in each. Against Athletico Paranaense he came on in the second half, replacing Matheus Pereira.
Amid a financial crisis and with three transfer bans in place, Corinthians have set a target of R$ 180 million in player sales in 2026. The youngster is viewed as a key asset, but the indication is he would remain in the squad if André Luiz is sold.
With Bidon available, coach Fernando Diniz is preparing for the next assignment. Corinthians visit Rosario Central at 21:30 on Thursday at the Gigante de Arroyito, the first leg of the Copa Libertadores last 16.
