Brentford announces final fan behaviour sanctions for the 2025/26 season | OneFootball

Brentford has confirmed the final number of sanctions issued for fan behaviour incidents during the 2025/26 season, as part of the club’s ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment at Gtech Community Stadium.

A total of 412 sanctions were issued across the campaign, reflecting decisive action taken against individuals who breached ground regulations or committed other matchday offences.

Brentford continues to follow best practice safety and security standards, ensuring that all supporters can enjoy football in an environment free from unacceptable behaviour.

The club remains committed to transparency in how incidents are handled, strengthening supporter confidence that reporting concerns leads to meaningful and timely action.

This year’s total represents a small increase from 398 sanctions in 2024/25. Of the 412 sanctions, 343 related to breaches of ground regulations, a slight decrease from 356 in last season.

More than half of these 343 cases involved away fans in home areas, a trend linked to the club’s early adoption of digital ticketing ahead of the Premier League’s mandatory implementation deadline. Digital ticketing has significantly improved the club’s ability to identify ticket misuse and tackle touting.

In addition, 432 memberships were revoked due to ticket touting activity, again made possible through enhanced visibility and traceability within the digital ticketing system.

Fan sanction details

This report covers all breaches of ground regulations dealt with on matchday, including issues relating to visiting supporters, and ticketing offences such as touting or knowingly passing to away fans.

Across the 2025/26 season, 412 individuals received sanctions ranging from verbal warnings to long-term bans.

There remain nine incidents under investigation by the club and 19 open cases with the police.
