Brentford are in talks with West Ham United striker Callum Wilson about potentially joining as a free agent, according to The Athletic journalist David Ornstein.
Wilson was expected to be released by the Hammers, but his name was absent from the club’s list a couple of weeks ago.
He could reportedly sign another deal with the club, but he wants to remain in the Premier League.
The 34-year-old has bagged 95 goals and 26 assists in 271 league appearances and could now continue his top-flight career with the Bees.
The forward has also been linked with newly-promoted Coventry City and Hull City, but a move to a more established club could be more appealing.
Remaining in London is also likely to be a huge factor for Wilson, and Brentford are keen to secure his services as they look to add quality experience to their ranks.
West Ham are braced to lose key players this summer following relegation to the Championship.
Hammers captain Jarrod Bowen has been linked with Aston Villa, while Mateus Fernandes is expected to join Tottenham Hotspur or Manchester United.
A squad overhaul is on the cards, and West Ham manager Nuno Espirito Santo will be looking to recruit players capable of getting his side back up to the Premier League immediately.
