Brentford striker Igor Thiago is closing in on a new Premier League record with his latest strike in the Premier League.

The Bees took an early lead over Everton at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, and it was none other than the Brazilian once again.
He got in between two Everton defenders and was picked out by an inch-perfect cross to tuck it home for the visitors.
Thiago has now reached 12 Premier League goals for the season as they reach the halfway point.
Currently, the most goals scored by a Brazilian in a single Premier League season is 15 - a record shared by Matheus Cunha, Gabriel Martinelli and Roberto Firmino.

Not only that, only three played have scored more than him this season in Europe Top 5 leagues: Haaland (19), Kane (19) and Mbappé (18), according to StatMuse.
With just under half the season left to play, can the Brentford striker set a new record? It's looking likely!
