Brentford to host Aston Villa in Carabao Cup round three

Brentford have been drawn to face fellow Premier League side Aston Villa at home in round three of the Carabao Cup.

The Bees reached this stage following a 2-0 win away at Bournemouth on Tuesday evening.

Unai Emery's Villans enter the competition in round three alongside the other seven clubs competing in either the UEFA Champions League or UEFA Europa League.

The tie will see Keith Andrews' side welcome Villa back to Gtech Community Stadium for the second time in a month, having defeated them 1-0 in the first home game of the 2025/26 campaign.
