Wiktoria Kiszkis' brace and assist helped Brentford Women open pre-season with a dominant 4-0 win over Ascot United Women.

Chelsie Berry and Becca Teale also got on the scoresheet, whilst summer signings Ellie Thomas-Leek, Imogen Cochrane and Abbi Smith all started for Carly Williams’ side in their first pre-season outing.

The Bees, wearing the new home kit for 2026/27 and 2027/28, broke the deadlock with a beautiful team goal.

Smith and Katie Gilligan combined with a clever one-two before the latter cut it back to Kiszkis, who wrapped her foot round the ball, curling a first-time strike into the top-right corner on the quarter-hour mark.

Three minutes later, Brentford Women scored an even better second. Maddie Phillips clipped the ball over to Berry who took a touch before smashing her half-volley in off the far post, swerving away from the Ascot keeper to make it two.

Kiszkis had her second and Brentford’s third on 23 minutes, with Smith involved again from the right. Fed by the winger, Kiszkis lifted the ball over the Ascot centre-half before chipping the keeper with an excellently weighted improvised finish.

It was a quieter second half. Substitute Ilana Harris-Walters created a brilliant chance 10 minutes in down the right with a fizzed cross, but Trialist B turned the ball wide at the back post.

Asees Sangha also had a good effort saved by the Ascot keeper from her left-footed strike on the edge of the box, before Teale headed just wide from Harris-Walters' excellent cross with 15 to play.

Lucy Potter broke down the left on 80 minutes and pulled it back to Sangha, who drew a brilliant save from the Ascot no.1 to keep it at three, before Freya Worsley had a goal chalked off by the offside flag.

Teale then added a fourth late on with a pinpoint driven finish from the edge of the box after an unselfish set from Kiszkis, to round off what was a positive first showing for Williams' side back from the summer break.

The Bees' next pre-season test comes on Sunday 26 July as they take on west London rivals QPR in their first game at their new home, Uxbridge FC. Entrance is free for all.
