Following an earlier season loss to Regents Park, Tommy Ryan-Maynard’s side looked to settle the score at home and they got off to the perfect start inside 30 minutes.
Karina Hlek regained the ball from a throw-in and immediately found Justine Buckmire-Monro who passed to Robertson. Boabonay was next in the chain of play, the winger lobbing the Regents Park goalkeeper from long range to open the scoring.
Five minutes later Boabonay returned the favour, Robertson able to find the back of the net. Freya Morgan played the ball through to Boabonay down the right side who immediately crossed to the penalty spot, and Robertson was there to put the ball into the left side of the net to double Brentford’s lead.
The west Londoners didn’t have to wait long to find a third goal. Hlek’s toe-poke was able to win the ball back for Ryan-Maynard’s side inside the first minute of the re-start, and Robertson was in the right place at the right time to smash it home for her brace.
Robertson’s second goal continued a rich run of form, following on from her six-goal effort last time out in an 8-0 Capital Cup win over Denham United Reserves.
In control of the game the west Londoners continued to cruise towards victory with a healthy lead behind them.
Inside the final 10 minutes, Brentford put the game to bed. Alicia Henry’s header from a Regents Park goal kick landed with Boabonay, who immediately sent the ball Lesnard’s way, her strike finding the top-left corner to make it 4-0.
Petit put the cherry on top with a late goal, her 40-yard strike cannoning into the top-right corner to finish off a five-star performance.
The Bees return to JGMT Cup action next, with a trip to Douglas Eyre Sports Centre to face London Academicals to come on Sunday.
