Yoane Wissa

After Brentford’s defeat this Sunday against Nottingham Forest, Keith Andrews addressed the situation of Yoane Wissa. The coach has ruled out a departure for the Congolese international.

Speaking to talkSPORT following Brentford’s 3-1 loss on Premier League opening day, Keith Andrews reiterated the club’s stance regarding Yoane Wissa.

"I have a good relationship with Wissa. I worked very hard with him last year to try and find goals. Seven of his 19 goals last season came from set pieces. He really owes me something, so quite frankly, he shouldn’t be going anywhere!" the Brentford manager revealed.

For any potential transfer of Yoane Wissa, Brentford are demanding 70 million euros—a sum considered excessive by Newcastle and a clear sign the club have no intention of letting the Congolese forward go.
