Stade Brestois have yet to make a move in the transfer market ahead of their first-ever season competing in a European competition. However, this may soon change, with Foot Mercato reporting that Brest are looking at Bayern Munich’s Gabriel Vidović (20) as they look to strengthen their attacking options ahead of an unfamiliar season in the Champions League.
Brest will reportedly seek out a loan deal for Vidović and have already made contact with the Croatian winger’s agent as they attempt to convince the player of a project where he will be provided far more playing time than at the German giants.
Vidović has only ever played a handful of games for Bayern’s first team and has spent the past two seasons on loan away from his parent club, first at SBV Vitesse and then subsequently at Dinamo Zagreb. However, his agent is thought to be planning to meet with Bayern’s hierarchy to discuss a contract extension with his current deal set to expire in 2025.
