If results go their way Eric Roy’s Stade Brestois have a chance of going second tonight with a victory over Olympique de Marseille. However, they would need to deliver a better performance than last week’s unexpected draw to last-placed Clermont Foot.
Roy will look to make a series of changes from the side that drew to ensure improved levels against a wobbling Marseille team. Up front, Steven Mounie will be dropped in favour of Martín Satriano. In midfield, Kamory Doumbia will celebrate his birthday with another start for Brest since joining the club on loan from Stade de Reims in the summer.
It was an enforced change for Roy in goal, as the usually reliable Marco Bizot was sent off against Clermont, meaning Grégoire Coudert will make his first start this season. While in defence, Lilian Brassier can return to the starting lineup following his suspension for a red card against Paris Saint-Germain in the Coupe de France.
