Brian was born on June 17, 2003, in Berwyn, Illinois, into a Mexican family deeply connected to Chivas. From a very young age, he followed the Rebaño Sagrado and grew up admiring players such as Adolfo Bautista, Javier Hernández, and Marco Fabián, footballers who fueled his passion for the Rojiblanco colors.

Those childhood memories in front of the television marked the beginning of a dream that would later become reality.

The First Steps of a Rising Talent

His relationship with the ball began at an early age. At 10 years old, he played seven-a-side soccer for a team coached by his father, who instilled in him a philosophy that remains unchanged to this day: always enjoy the game.

As the years passed, Brian began to stand out for his creativity, confidence, and ability to make a difference in attack. He regularly competed against older players, displaying a talent that quickly caught the attention of the Chicago Fire organization, which he joined at age 11 to continue his development.

Joining the Rebaño

For Clausura 2026, Brian fulfilled his dream of wearing the Guadalajara jersey. His adaptation was almost immediate thanks to his technical ability, vision, and capacity to create advantages in the attacking third.

Throughout the tournament, he showcased his quality with several standout performances and important goals against León and Puebla, quickly becoming a valuable option within Gabriel Milito’s system.

A World Cup to Crown a Special Moment

The growth Brian displayed with Chivas was also rewarded at the international level. Thanks to his performances, he earned a call-up to the Mexican National Team for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

He even started in the tournament opener against South Africa, helping El Tri secure a 2-0 victory and further confirming the outstanding form the Rojiblanco midfielder is enjoying.

A Very Special Birthday

Today, Brian Gutiérrez is celebrating much more than another year of life. He is celebrating the journey that took him from being a young boy dreaming of playing for Chivas to becoming a player for the club he loves and one of the brightest young talents in Mexican soccer.

The entire Nación Rojiblanca wishes you a very happy birthday, Brian!
