Teenage Poland international Kacper Kozłowski has completed a move to Brighton from Pogon Szczecin, they have confirmed.
The midfielder, who has already been capped six times for his country, has penned a deal until the summer of 2026 with the Seagulls.
A report in the Athletic puts the transfer fee for Kozłowski at £8 million.
However, he will not link up with his new team straight away as Brighton have announced that he will be immediately loaned out to Belgian league leaders Royal Union St-Gilloise for the remainder of the season.
He has made 40 senior league appearances to date in his career and is also the youngest player ever to play at the European Championship, breaking a record set in the summer by Jude Bellingham just six days previously.
