Fabian Hürzeler's Brighton are flying high at the Amex in the opening 45 minutes against Premier League holders Arsenal.

The league's leading scorers came into their home clash on the south coast against the table-toppers looking confident after a strong start to the 2026/27 campaign, and that confidence has paid off in spades to the tune of two hammer blows against Mikel Arteta's Gunners.

A lovely curled effort by veteran German midfielder Pascal Groß broke the deadlock in the 31st minute after Brighton's fantastic press kept Arsenal at bay.

His effort was matched by Greek youngster Charalampos Kostoulas, who also let fly from range to beat Davie Raya from outside the box for the second time before the break, meaning Arsenal have now surrendered three goals in the Premier League season, all coming from long range.

With the Gunners' defence becoming a cornerstone of their recent Premier League success and push to the final of the Champions League last season, have Brighton figured out the formula?
