According to BuLi News, Brighton & Hove Albion had a €45 million bid for Bayer Leverkusen’s Malik Tillman rejected on Monday, before completing a late move for VfB Stuttgart’s Chema Andrés.

The Seagulls instead sealed a deal worth around €23 million for the midfielder from Stuttgart.

Tillman remained at Leverkusen.

Leverkusen signed the USMNT international from PSV in the summer of 2025 for a reported €35 million.
