Brighton are prepared to let Joao Pedro leave the club this summer after the forward expressed interest in an exit.
Pedro has informed Brighton of his desire for a new challenge and the Seagulls are willing to sell if their valuation is met.
The 23-year-old has impressed since joining Brighton in a club-record £30m deal from Watford in 2023. He has scored 30 goals in 70 appearances across all competitions, including 10 in the Premier League this season.
Pedro made his senior debut for Brazil in 2023 and has since won three senior caps. He is keen to play European football as he bids to make the squad for next summer’s World Cup.
Liverpool are understood to have tracked his progress at the Amex Stadium, while Fabrizio Romano has revealed that each of the Premier League’s top clubs are ‘aware of the opportunity’ to seal a transfer this summer.
Brighton have placed a valuation of €70m (£59.1m) on Pedro, ahead of anticipated interest in his services.
