Johnson made eight appearances for The Robins in all competitions. The forward netted her only goal in Bristol City’s 2-2 draw with Birmingham City in the group stage of the Subway Women’s League Cup. Johnson was often used as a substitute by Bristol City boss Charlotte Healy.

Brighton & Hove Albion signed Johnson from Crystal Palace back in 2021. The player has impressed for The Seagulls at Women’s Professional Game Academy League level and she now finds herself on the fringes of the senior squad.

The next step for Johnson’s development is not yet known. It seems unlikely that the player will be offered many first team minutes at Brighton & Hove Albion therefore a fresh loan move may be a possibility or she may again feature for the club’s Under-19s.

Brighton & Hove Albion return to action following the winter break when they travel to Aston Villa next weekend.
