In October, Football Insider revealed that Liverpool had joined the race to sign Palmeiras’ promising defender, Vitor Reis, with a focus on bolstering their central defense.

The report noted that Reis is eager to make the move to Europe and pursue his Champions League dream. However, Palmeiras appears committed to keeping him for the time being.

According to ESPN Brazil, Manchester United, Arsenal, and Paris Saint-Germain have also shown interest in the 19-year-old. With Reis contracted until December 2028 and a €100 million release clause, a transfer in the near future seems unlikely.

For now, top clubs are expected to keep a close eye on his development throughout the season.

Journalist Charlie Parker-Turner reports that Brighton have submitted a £23.5 million bid for Palmeiras defender Vitor Reis. The Premier League club has already seen two previous offers rejected.

Chelsea and Arsenal have also entered the race for the Brazilian talent, per Bild. However, Palmeiras is keen to hold on to him and will not let him go easily.

Reis is under contract until 2028, with a release clause set at €100 million, a figure no club is currently willing to meet.
