The 25-year-old joins the Premier League club after an impressive spell in Belgium, where he scored 41 goals and provided nine assists in 82 appearances for Union Saint-Gilloise.

David has enjoyed a rapid rise throughout his career. After playing youth football in Canada, Croatia and the United States, he moved to Malta in 2022, representing Valletta and Sirens before joining Estonian side Nomme Kalju.

His 30 goals in 44 appearances for Kalju attracted the attention of Union Saint-Gilloise, who signed him in 2024. David went on to score 24 goals as the Belgian club secured their first league title in 90 years.

He has also established himself internationally with Canada, earning 14 caps and scoring four goals. David featured in four of Canada's five matches at the World Cup this summer, scoring in the 2-1 defeat by Switzerland.
