Brighton to visit Athens and Madrid after Conference League draw | OneFootball

Brighton have been handed trips to Athens and Madrid in the Conference League, with Panathinaikos and Getafe among their league-stage opponents, TheArgus.co.uk reports.

The draw in Monaco also paired them with Jablonec. Monaco, Universitatea Craiova and Kauno Zalgiris will visit the Amex.

Fixture dates are due to be confirmed over the weekend. Fans enjoyed Athens almost three years ago around a Europa League win at AEK.

Monaco began their league campaign with a 1-0 victory at Le Havre last week, Eric Dier scoring the only goal. Kauno might have completed their league season, which ends in early November, by the time they visit.

Craiova have started solidly domestically and include former Albion youngster Tudor Baluta in midfield. Jablonec knocked Rangers out in the play-off round.

Albion want noisy backing in the three home matches after two home ends worked in Thursday’s 4-0 win over Tromso.
