Brighton winger Jose Izquierdo is being held back due to bonus payments owed to former team Club Brugge, it has been reported.
Voetbal24 says the Colombia international hasn't tasted first team football at Brighton since April 27, 2019. A knee injury has plagued Izquierdo, though it's also claimed a bonus payment due when Izquierdo plays 50 games is also seeing him frozen out. The midfielder sits on 47 appearances for Brighton.
Izquierdo comes off contract in June and several media sources say he would like to return to the Jupiler Pro League.
Among clubs keen are Antwerp.
