Brighton Women tuned up with a 3-0 friendly win over Genk before facing Barcelona in the Joan Gamper Trophy at 7pm BST. Olaug Tvedten scored twice and youngster Taylor Warren was also on target.

He added: “We weren’t able to make it last season just because they had a change in fixtures. They said we were again first choice if we were able to so that was quite a simple one.”
