One outlet in particular had a pop at the German and that was the team over at Clyde 1 on their evening Superscoreboard show. They invited a so called Austrian football ‘expert’ onto the show to discuss what Kuhn would bring to Celtic, and the expert in question didn’t exactly paint a promising picture.
I don’t recall what was actually said, but Kuhn was portrayed as a very underwhelming signing who would contribute very little, according to the ‘expert’ who was said to have watched him closely during his time at Rapid Vienna.
Granted Nicolas looked a little bit lost during his first few weeks at the club, but he’s since came on leaps and bounds and his brace in Tuesday’s victory over RB Leipzig took his goal tally to nine this season with ten assists thrown in for good measure. Nicolas Kuhn even made the UEFA Champions League Team of the Week and his first goal was a contender for their Goal of the Week.

That performance from Nicolas showed that he can compete at the very top level, and left out the guys over at Clyde looking rather foolish, and not for the first time.
