Bruma is not expected to remain at Benfica next season due to limited game time and fitness after injury. According to Glorioso 1904, the Portuguese international is unlikely to continue under José Mourinho, who is expected to lead the team next term.

The board, led by Rui Costa, is expected to pursue a sale of the 31-year-old.

A similar move was close at the start of this season, but a pre-season injury scuppered the plan.

Bruma has been losing ground to Gianluca Prestianni and Andreas Schjelderup, and the picture has shifted further with Dodi Lukebakio’s return and the winter signing of Rafa Silva.

This season he has featured only twice for Benfica, both outings in Liga Portugal Betclic, totalling 14 minutes without any contribution. He is valued at 5 million euros.
