Bruma wants to leave Benfica this summer, with Türkiye his preferred destination. Istanbul is regarded as the most likely landing spot for the 31-year-old winger.
According to Glorioso 1904, he has been taken out of first-team training under Marco Silva and is working separately while he and the club search for a solution.
He knows the country well after a significant spell with Galatasaray and retains a strong connection with Turkish football. Benfica, for their part, are prioritising an exit for a player who is not in Silva’s plans.
Bruma joined from Braga in January 2025 for about 6.5 million euros, arriving with the expectation of a significant role in attack.
Intense competition and fitness issues hindered his progress, and injuries restricted him to just three appearances last season under José Mourinho.
With the window nearing its end, a move could be agreed soon, and growing interest from Türkiye may give him the chance to play regularly again.
