Bruno Fernandes beats Arsenal and Man City stars to win PFA Players’ Player of the Year award | OneFootball

Bruno Fernandes has been named the PFA Players’ Player of the Year for 2026 after being voted for by his fellow professionals.

The Manchester United midfielder was recognised for his impressive performances last season, in which he recorded an outstanding 21 assists in the Premier League.

Fernandes is joined among the individual winners by Manchester City youngster Nico O’Reilly, who has been named the PFA Young Player of the Year for 2026.

The pair also feature in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year, which has been selected by players.

Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya takes his place between the posts, while his club team-mates Gabriel Magalhães, William Saliba and Jurrien Timber are included in defence alongside City’s O’Reilly.

Fernandes is joined in midfield by Arsenal’s Declan Rice and Manchester City star Rayan Cherki.

The forward line consists of Erling Haaland and Antoine Semenyo of Manchester City, with Brentford striker Igor Thiago completing the attack.

Meanwhile, Bunny Shaw has been named the Women’s PFA Players’ Player of the Year for 2026, while Olivia Smith won the Players’ Young Player award.
