Bruno Fernandes has reportedly turned down a large offer from Al Hilal to remain playing in Europe.

The Manchester United talisman was linked to a move to the Saudi Pro League for a potential big-money contract that journalist Fabrizio Romano described as 'crazy'.

Previous reports had suggested that Al Hilal were prepared to pay £200 million to the 30-year-old over three years while offering a £100m transfer fee for the player.

United were said to be resisting to sell their club captain, with Fernandes scoring 19 and assisting 18 goals in 57 appearances during the 2024/25 season, but would not have stood in his way if he wanted to leave the club.

The news of Fernandes staying will be a big boost to Ruben Amorim and his team as United look to rebuild for the next season after their worst ever Premier League performance.
