Arsenal’s trip to the Stadium of Light served up plenty around the margins, as Bruno Guimarães answered jeers with the opener.

The hosts were punished late on, Reinildo was sent off and Bukayo Saka converted the resulting penalty to leave the scoreline harsher than the contest.
